Hal Breeden drew a walk with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to force in the deciding run and Clyde Mashore smashed a two-run homer in the ninth to clinch the Expos' 4-1 victory over the Dodgers. With the score tied, 1-1, Tim Foli beat out an infield hit in the eighth and, with two out, Ron Woods singled. Al Downing then walked Bob Bailey to load the bases and passed Breeden to send Foli home. [The Sporting News]
