With Daniel Keough (Man in Bar), Celia Milius (Francis), John Holland (Judge McElroy), Howard Caine (Hunnicutt), Peter Forster (Assistant D.A.), Edward Winter (Kip Kipple). A romantic comedy about contemporary marriage, based on the characters in the 1949 movie of the same name that starred Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. Ken Howard and Blythe Danner, both Broadway actors, make their series debuts as the husband-wife attorneys. He is an assistant DA; she is a junior partner in a legal firm. In the first episode the Bonners get involved in proving a point, that it's all right for a man to pick up a girl, but not the other way around.
