With Bernard Fox (Sir Edward Ramsey). Academy Award-winner Yul Brynner re-creates his role of the King of Siam in the television version of the hit play and movie about an American governess and her son who travel to Siam to care for the King's children. Tonight's story centers around Anna's 12-year-old son Louis, who has a fight with the King's heir, Crown Prince Chulalongkorn, and is immediately asked to leave by the King.

September 24, 1972: The Baby

With Miiko Taka, Frances Fong, Lisa Fong, Heidi Lee, Jean Wong, Lona Nai, Clarence Lung. Given a costly pendant by the King, Anna finds herself using it to buy a baby from a peasant woman to save the child from being sold as a slave to Kralohome's wife.

October 1, 1972: The King Or The Tiger?

October 15, 1972: Anna's Romance

With Lisa Lu (Lady Thiang). Trying to soften the King's treatment of his wives, Anna tells him women need tenderness, and he immediately concludes that she wants to enter his harem. When the rumor sweeps through the palace, Louis tries to run away so Anna has to find a way to tell the King no without hurting his ego.

In a spooky adventure, the King tells the children a ghost story that promptly sends Louis and the Crown Prince in search of a haunted temple where they believe gold is hidden.

The issue of women's rights confronts the King when his 13-year-old daughter rebels at the marriage her father has planned for her and announces she wants to be a schoolteacher like Mrs. Owens. (Last show of the series.)
