Season 0, episode 1
With Elton John, Bette Midler, Flip Wilson. Cher's first solo variety special, a prelude to her own weekly series which debuts on Sunday. Highlights: Elton John performs "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"; Bette and Cher duet on "Trashy Ladies"; the entire cast gets together in a rest home to reminisce about the last 50 years.
February 16, 1975:
Season 1, episode 1
With Tatum O'Neal, Wayne Rogers, Raquel Welch. Program debuts as a weekly series following its preview earlier this week. Tonight's highlights include a "Top Hat" production number with the entire cast; Cher sings "You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You" and returns in a comedy sketch as Donna Jean Brodie, the pitch lady.
Season 1, episode 2
With The Osmonds, Nancy Walker, Jerry Lewis. Highlights include the Osmonds as a motorcycle gang; Cher sings "Got to Get You Into My Life", "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother", and a medley of Stevie Wonder songs; Lewis appears as a hapless clown and then offers an untraditional version of "Danny Boy"; he also portrays a tough criminal who finally meets his match.

With Jack Albertson, Cloris Leachman. Highlights include Cher singing "I'll Go My Way by Myself" and "Am I Blue?"; Oldtime vaudevillian Albertson demonstrates the soft shoe; Miss Leachman portrays an elderly spinster celebrating her birthday.

With Freddie Prinze, The Pointer Sisters, Teri Garr. Highlights include Cher singing "When You're Smiling"; the Pointers sing "Girls Are Smarter"; Cher and Prinze appear in a sketch about a long-suffering wife and her compulsive liar of a husband.

With Lily Tomlin, The Jackson Five. Miss Tomlin plays Ernestine the telephone operator in addition to joining Cher for some chatter, and joins Rhoda's David Groh and Cher for a variety of skits. The Jackson Five sing "I Am Love" and "The World Is a Mess" as well as a medley of their hit songs with Cher.
