Debut of a series starring Jim McMullan and Dirk Benedict about policemen who combat crime from a helicopter. In the first show, they check out a robbery at a downtown hotel, a 14-story structure.

February 21, 1974: The Drop

The teenage daughter of a wealthy doctor is abducted and taken to a mountain hideway by the father of a patient of the doctor's who died. Instead of dropping ransom money as ordered, Don parachutes in to hunt for the girl.

April 11, 1974: Downtime

With Kenneth Tobey (Sgt. Reardon), William Watson (Peter Link), Dub Taylor (Rudy). Thinking that they will be able to relax while their chopper is undergoing repairs, Burdick and Foley find that they must race the clock to locate an extortionist before a bomb which he planted in a downtown building goes off. (Last show of the series.)
