July 16, 1970: Summer series returns, with shows taped in London starring Charles Nelson Reilly, the Golddiggers dancers, Marty Feldman and Tommy Tune. Highlights: "Hello, Hello London", "I Want to Be Loved" and "Something Special" by the Golddiggers; Reilly and Feldman spoof a shakedown racket; Tune sings "I've Got Your Number".
With Charles Nelson Reilly, Marty Feldman, Tommy Tune. The Golddiggers do "Wild" and "Strike Up the Band". Reilly, in a skit, shows the proper way to return gifts.
With Julian Chagrin. In a skit, Marty Feldman is a real estate agent who sells Charles Nelson Reilly a house next to an airport runway; Chagrin portrays a man receiving a chair as a gift; Golddiggers sing "Walking in the Rain".
With Debbie Reynolds, Charles Nelson Reilly. Darin, in this summer replacement for Dean Martin, will be joined by regulars Rip Taylor, Steve Landesberg, Sara Hankboner, Cathy Cahill and Dick Bakalyan for production numbers and comedy sketches. Tonight's highlights: Darin solos "Charade" and "Beyond the Sea"; Reilly joins Debbie and Darin in a skit, "Sylvia's Mother"; the company spoofs "Love Story"; a production number: "George Washington - Superguy"; and Darin closes with his "Mack the Knife".
With Joan Rivers, Pat Paulsen, Dusty Springfield. Bobby sings "For Once in My Life"; Joan and Pat take part in a "Secret Date"; Dusty sings "Since I Fell For You"; the cast does a silent movie skit.
With Donald O'Connor, Dionne Warwick, Phil Ford, Mimi Hines. Dionne and Bobby appear in a skit, "All Alone by the Telephone"; Phil, Mimi and Donald appear in "The Puppetman"; Dionne sings "This Girl's in Love With You"; Bobby sings "I'll Never Fall in Love Again".
With Carl Reiner, Claudine Longet. The cast takes part in a production number, "Strangers in the Night". Darin solos "Higher and Higher".
With Florence Henderson, Pat Paulsen. Highlights: Bobby sings "That's All" and "The Work Song"; Paulsen, in a skit, shows the effects of too much acupuncture treatment; Miss Henderson sings "I Believe in Music"; Bobby appears as "Dusty the Poet"; Bobby and Florence team in "Happy Together".
With The Smothers Brothers, Joanie Summers. Tom and Dick join Bobby in a take-off on the Marx Brothers. Joanie sings "Darling Be Home Soon". The Smotherses do "Side-by-Side". The entire company assembles for a "Cyrano de Bacharach" finale. (Last show of the series.)
