January 11, 1974: Right Of Way
Season 1, episode 1

With Bernard Fox (Horton), Scott Brady (Kelly), Jon Locke (Sykes), John McIntire (Orkie Sump), Michele Carey (Dolly). A salty old lady teams up with a former gunfighter to head West to the gold fields. Their travels are constantly interrupted as she keeps getting involved in the lives of people they meet. In the first show, Sally tries to help a man save his land from a railroader.

January 18, 1974: The Orphans
Season 1, episode 2

With Vincent Van Patten (George), Patti Cohoon (Millie). Sally's trusty mule is stolen and she and Pike are at a loss as to what to do when they capture the thief, a six-year-old boy.

January 25, 1974: The Old Soldier
Season 1, episode 3

With Gene Evans (Sam Concannon), Roger Bowen (Col. Lockwood), Francine York (Lauraleen). An old friend of Sally's thinks that now that he's been retired by the Army, there's nothing left to do with his life except get drunk.

February 1, 1974: Convict
Season 1, episode 4

With Mills Watson (Potts), Billy Green Bush (Otis), Tara Talboy (Cindy), Millie Perkins (Martha), Allen Price (Billy). A chain-gang fugitive bargains with Sally and Pike for a few hours of freedom to visit his expectant wife.

February 8, 1974: Horse Of A Different Color
Season 1, episode 5

With Denver Pyle (Parker), Jon Lormer (Miller). Pike schemes to do some shrewd horse trading and meets his match in Charlie Parker. At first, Sally doesn't want anything to do with Pike's scheme to sell horses to the Army, but when she sees what kind of trader Pike is dealing with, she tries to show Parker a trick or two of her own.

February 15, 1974: Too Long To Wait
Season 1, episode 6

With Beulah Bondi (Louisa Badger), John J. Fox (Broyles). Sally and Pike meet an old blind woman living alone in the wilderness, waiting for her grandson to return home so that she can die.

February 22, 1974: All That Glitters
Season 1, episode 7

With Jack Collins (Drummer), Sarah Kennedy (Julie). Pike rushes to the defense of Julie, a young card dealer who is accused of cheating, but she admits she is guilty only because of a desperate personal situation.

March 8, 1974: Much Ado About Nothing
Season 1, episode 8

With Harold Gould (Lucius), Julie Cobb (Melinda), Virginia Baker (Martha), John Harmon (Miller). A damsel in distress picks Pike for her leading man. He rushes to save her, but discovers she's with a theatrical troupe.

March 15, 1974: Wimmen's Rights
Season 1, episode 9

With Anthony Caruso (Paretti), Ken Swofford (Sheriff), Maudie Prickett (Mabel), Sandra de Bruin (Gladys). The mayor of a frontier town thinks he has the community in his pocket -- until he crosses Sally. She decides to run for mayor, with the backing of Pike and the local women.

March 22, 1974: I Never Saw The Pacific
Season 1, episode 10

With Paul Stevens (Rev. Collier), Doreen Lang (Sarah Brewster), Woodrow Chambliss (Doc Carter), Gaye Nelson (Linda Lee). A reverend confesses to Sally, on what he thinks is his death bed, that he is not an ordained minister and asks her to tell his followers the truth.

March 29, 1974: My Fair Laddie
Season 1, episode 11

With Annette O'Toole (George), Robert Totten (Cave), Ric Carrott (Ortho), David Barton (Adam). Sally raises the ire of a moonshiner when she converts his tomboyish daughter into a beautiful young lady.

April 5, 1974: The Hanging Of Cyrus Pike
Season 1, episode 12

With Jackie Coogan (Sheriff), John Fiedler (Al Fromley), Thelma Pelish (Mabel). Pike has been framed for horse stealing and is going to be hung. Sally has to find a way to prove he is innocent.
