Season 1, episode 1
W: Rchard Baer, Barbara Corday, Barbara Avedon D: Lee Bernhardi Series debut. Abe Vigoda stars as Fish, the dour detective of the popular "Barney Miller" series, as he and his wife Bernice undertake a new way of life as the adoptive parents of five disadvantaged youngsters. In the initial episode, Fish gets some counsel for his new role from a college student working for his Ph.D. in psychology.
