With Ed Nelson (Dr. Sanger), Darleen Carr (Hilary), William Lucking (Coleman), Lara Parker (Janette). The inventor of a mood-altering drug becomes Hagen's prime suspect when his assistant is arrested after losing track of a 12-hour period during which her estranged husband was murdered.

Hagen receives threats while searching for a man who disappeared eight years earlier, after a young woman believes that she saw the man -- her long-missing father -- on a television newscast.
