With Garry Epp (Tad), Joy Claussen (Carol), Patti Proctor (Girl), Julie Paris (Girl), Tom Bosley (Howard Cunningham), Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham). Premiere of a series in which the "Happy Days" characters depart Milwaukee to pursue a rock music career in Chicago. In the opening episode, Chachi and Joanie audition for a summer singing job, but Joanie is considered too wholesome for the act.

October 14, 1982: Joanie's Roommate

With Tom Bosley (Howard Cunningham), Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham), Deanna Oliver (Girl). Howard suspects the worst when he calls Joanie in the middle of the night and Chachi picks up the phone.

With Nancy Lieberman (Nancy). Chachi's condescending attitude toward women's athletic abilities lands him in a one-on-one basketball game with Joanie's friend Nancy.

November 11, 1982: Beatlemania

November 18, 1982: Best Foot Forward

With Don S. Davis (Benny), John Fragnoli (Jeff), Michael Alldredge (McNulty), Bill Kirchenbauer (Phil). After repeatedly warning the band about showing up late and taking excessive breaks during performances, Al and Louisa have no choice but to fire them.

December 2, 1982: Term Paper

With Dean Santoro (Professor Hollis), William Woff (Bill Ziegler), Steven Baio (Jerry Wood). After accidentally burning Joanie's term paper, Mario submits a substitute -- one identical to another student's.

December 9, 1982: My Dinner With Chachi

With Greg Finley (Doctor), John Allen (Milton). Joanie's attempt to please Chachi by making his favorite dish -- shrimp marinara -- is spoiled when it turns out the shrimp is rancid.
