Debut of an anthology series of romantic tales with a different cast each week. Stories concern people of varying ages and different backgrounds whose lives are influenced by the element of love. The first story concerns an irresponsible youth who finds life with his hypochondriac mother and a series of "nothing" jobs sufficient -- until he's attracted to the fragile new girl who has moved into his apartment building.

December 5, 1973: When The Girls Came Out To Play

The colorful, constant party atmosphere of a Southern California apartment complex, complete with the superficial relationships which result, is the theme of a story about a swinger, the girl with whom he falls in love, and the girl he's trying to forget.

With Bruce Davison (Jeffrey), Dean Jagger (Great Grandfather), Kay Lenz (Sara), Joan Pringle (Susan), Robert Mandan (Frank), Allyn Ann McLerie (Vivian), Dennis Olivieri, Chuck Daniel. A young man and his common-law wife are alienated by two factors: her insistence upon bringing his grandfather out of the old people's home to live with them, and her discovery that she is pregnant.
