With Markie Post (Linda), Art Lund, Thom Christopher (Phillip). McClain tries to nail a dope dealer who killed an undecover cop but beat the murder rap on a technicality.

December 4, 1981: A Time Of Peril

With Kathryn Daley (Joyce Collins), Nicholas Pryor (Sheridan), Barbara Babcock (Vanessa Vale), Francis X. McCarthy, Sheila Wills. McClain is charged with brutality after a rape suspect he collared is released for insufficient evidence.

January 8, 1982: To Save The Queen

McClain is assisgned to protect the deputy mayor, who has been targeted for assassination by a group of international terrorists.

January 15, 1982: A Matter Of Honor

With Judith Chapman (Arlene), Bruce Gray, Ana Alicia, Scott Colomby (Joe), Titos Vandis (Garcia). A murder investigation reveals that the victim was loved -- by many women other than his wife. The search leads McClain to the father and brother of one of the man's girlfriends.

February 5, 1982: What Patric Doesn't Know

With Laurence Haddon (Gun Shop Owner), Sheila Larken, John Crawford (Tulio), Pat Corley, Julie Carmen, Richard Jaeckel, Joseph Pantoliano (Russell). Two friends of McClain's are among the victims when a pair of young thugs start a crime wave in the neighborhood. One of the victims, desiring more than police protection, buys a handgun.

February 12, 1982: Green Light

With William Mims (Glen Harmon), Robert F. Lyons (Jack Clayton), Tom Bower (Lloyd Jorgenson). Lieutenant DiNisco and Detective Cross are held hostage in the police squad room by two escaped convicts and their female accomplice.

February 19, 1982: Use Of Deadly Force

With Robert Pierce (Wilson), Britt Lind (Mary Lou St. Clair), Lance LeGault (Sgt. Hawkins). McClain is asked to investigate a nearby police force after accusations are made that the officers are beating suspects.

With Justin Lord, Kip Niven, Peter Billingsley, Karen Jennings (Joan Potter). A young boy is the only witness to a supermarket robbery, but his fearful mother refuses to let him testify.

March 20, 1982: The Last Hero

With David Ackroyd, Gregory Sierra (Lou Minetti), Susan Adams, Vincent Caristi, Marion Yue. A mentally disturbed Vietnam veteran rages through a hospital with a submachine gun, demanding to see a patient, and takes McClain and two others as hostages. (Last show of the series.)
