Series debut. Hurled through the time barrier when their spaceship malfunctions, two astronauts crash land on a futuristic planet where apes rule humans and regard these men from a past civilization as enemies. The show is based on the 20th Century-Fox movie, with Roddy McDowall recreating his movie role. In the first episode, the astronauts are given refuge from searching gorilla patrols by another human.
