With Virginia Gregg (Mrs. Foster), Buck Young (Smith), John Berwick (Tom), Michael Margotta (Suspect). Series premiere. A man-and-dog police patrol unit is created to take on assignments too tricky for regular teams. In the opener, Sam, a specially trained Labrador retriever, and Officer Breen (Mark Harmon) are to be evicted from their apartment. In the meantime, they must locate a deaf mute boy trapped in a cave and disarm a bank robber who is carrying a bomb.
