With Stanley Brock (Donner), Vernon Weddle (Installer). A missing diamond necklace, an apparent inside theft, spoils Joyce's surprise birthday party with her long-time friends when she calls the police.

Joyce and the "Undercover Woman" cast encourage Doug Potter to stop being a messenger boy for the network and start making decisions for himself -- and soon afterwards, Doug finds himself without a job.

When the first divorce proves invalid, a spite-filled Joyce Whitman refuses her ex-husband a second, causing him to retaliate by moving back in and demanding his rights as a husband.
