Bob Crane returns to TV in a series, playing a former insurance company vice president who has chosen in his early 40s to make a second career start by returning to medical school. In the first show, he's fearful of being unable to make the grade scholastically and wonders if his old job is still open.

With Bruce Kimmel (Herbie), John Astin (Lowen), Edward Winter (Dr. Patterson), Carol O'Leary (Miss Francis). Bob's pleasure at a reunion with an old friend, a nationally known architect, is short-lived when the man's casual announcement of his activism throws the hospital into a swivet.

With Brett Somers (Mrs. Strauss), Harold Gould (Dr. Strauss). Friendship with his anatomy teacher proves to be a burden to Bob when Dr. Strauss splits with his wife and chooses Bob as his constant companion.

With Jo Ann Pflug (Mary Jane Daggett), Jack Bannon (Officer Hager). Bob is suspected of complicity when the last man he hired before resigning as an insurance company executive embezzles thousands of dollars.

June 12, 1975: Son Of Campus Capers

With John Hillerman (Dean Harrington), Gloria LeRoy (Lola), John Ritter (Hornbeck), Ronni Richards (Miss Campbell). A campus flirtation of 20 years ago causes some anxious moments for Bob when the lady involved turns up, married to the dean of the medical school. (Last show of the series.)
