Season 1, episode 1 A series about a stern but lovable patriarch of an Italian-American family which gathers at his home each Sunday for equal portions of food, philosophy and fun. In the first show, Poppa upsets the family by scheduling the reading of his will after dinner.
Season 1, episode 2 The family get-together is pleasantly diverted by youngest son Nunzio's first acting break on a local TV station.
Season 1, episode 3 Nunzio brings home to dinner a girl who turns out to be an old flame of his older brother.
Season 1, episode 4 Poppa is furious when he learns that son-in-law Jim is late to Sunday dinner because he went to a football game, and decides to cancel the traditional weekly feasts.
Season 1, episode 5 Poppa and Mama renew their marriage vows for their 40th wedding anniversary but Mama causes great consternation, especially for Poppa, when she refuses to say "obey".
Season 1, episode 6 While Mama is ailing with an infected wisdom tooth, a succession of cooks, including Papa, attempt to prepare Sunday dinner.
Season 1, episode 7 Tony and Rose are excited when son Joey is interviewed by the bishop for the position of their local parish priest.

With Kaye Ballard. The infamous Aunt Filomena surprises the family by arriving in the middle of Sunday dinner to beg Rose's forgiveness before going away forever, but Rose refuses to see her. (Last show of the series.)
