Don Adams is back on weekly TV, this time as a police detective. His squad car partner is Rupert Crosse. Together their antics keep the captain in a constant state of frustration. In the first show, the partners are assigned to capture bank robbers.

Dets. Crooke and Robinson investigate a call from a woman who claims someone's trying to kill her, and find that there's less than meets the investigative eye.

October 2, 1971: The Prisoner Of Fender

Dets. Crooke and Robinson, assigned to capture a criminal who has been buying and selling "hot" money, not only allow their man to escape but also another being trailed by the FBI.

October 23, 1971: Witness For The Execution

A contract on Crooke's life prompts Capt. Andrews to remove him from duty and assign his partner to guard him.

The psychiatrist to whom detectives Crooke and Robinson have taken a chronic confessor to all crimes, in hopes that he could be cured, is found dead after the confessor's visit.

November 6, 1971: Requiem For A Godfather

January 8, 1972: They Steal Cars, Don't They?

Crooke and Robinson, assigned to break up a car theft ring, not only have their car stolen from under their noses but also Capt. Andrews' car, which he has loaned them.
