Season 2, episode 1

With Martha Scott (Aunt Harriet). The second season (of the show formerly known as Funny Face) begins with a new cast of characters and a new job for Sandy. Tonight, she tries to arrange a blind date between her boss and her disconsolate Aunt Harriett, whose husband has just left her after 30 years of marriage.

With Aldine King (Ernestine), Vivian Bonnell (Louise), Ed Cambridge (George). Sandy becomes the fourth member of an "eternal triangle" when a new phone number brings her a rash of calls from a man who thinks she's his girlfriend Ernestine.

W: Earl Barret, Arne Sultan, Nate Monaster Sandy volunteers to secretly tutor her boss so he can pass the exam for his high school diploma, but their evenings of study together lead everyone to believe they're having a romance.

With Marty Feldman (Burglar), Ken Lynch (Police Sergeant), Michael Link (Boy). A smooth-talking burglar gets locked in Sandy's apartment when the handyman replaces the lock on the door. He then tries to gab his way out with a sob story.

With John Hillerman (Plessey), Abe Vigoda (Mr. Samuelson), Nora Denney (Mrs. Samuelson), Charles Lane (Judge). Sandy goes to trial rather than settle out of court with a couple of phonies who have her arrested on an assault charge and then try to sue her for personal injuries.

With Keith Charles (Richard), Donald Woods (Ellsworth). A mystery man is overwhelming Sandy with tokens of love. (Last show of the series.)

With Bob Hastings (Director). Opportunity comes knocking at Sandy's door when she's selected to be the Bubbles Galore girl in a commercial for a new bubble bath that has one unpleasant side effect -- she's allergic to it.

With Barry Livingston (Walter), Herbie Faye (Waiter). Sandy inherits a delicate situation. Alex's nephew Walter, a boy genius, plans to propose to Sandy but she decides to beat him to the punch in hopes of discouraging him.

With Eugene Troobnick (Hornsby), Byron Webster (Dr. Kellum). Sandy's laryngitis helps her land the role of a husky-throated femme fatale in a television commercial only to find herself on the brink of losing the part when her cold clears up.

With Ron Rifkin (Warren). Sandy is faced with the painful choice of having her aching tooth repaired by a new dentist, who happens to be a klutz, or telling him she'd rather go elsewhere, thereby hurting his feelings.

W: Earl Barret, Arne Sultan, Laurence Marks Alex writes a novel based on his exploits as a motorcycle cop, a book everyone thinks is lousy until Bert Quinn manages to sell it to a movie producer.

With Liam Dunn (Rockefeller), Tol Avery (Stockton). A bank error results in Sandy's suddenly becoming $10,000 richer at the expense of a local politician who would rather nobody knew the money was his.
