An earthy contemporary series centering around the lives of four motherless children and their widowed father -- Zack Wheeler -- the most irresponsible, no-account, indolent yet lovable rascal in the Lone Star state. In the first show, Truckie is faced with a school mutiny by Doobie after the return of their "daddy".

September 20, 1974: The X-Rated Movie

Friends talk Doobie into watching an X-rated movie so he can prepare for the date he's made with a pretty classmate. But Doobie is turned off by the movie and seeks advice from older brother Truckie.

When Truckie discovers a dent in his truck, Zack denies doing it although he used it the night before.

October 4, 1974: The Twister
