A homer by Harmon Killebrew after Rod Carew doubled started the Twins' scoring in the first inning en route to a 6-4 victory over the White Sox. The Twins picked up an unearned run in the second, Frank Quilici singled to knock in two tallies in the sixth and Tony Oliva wrapped up the scoring with a round-tripper in the ninth.
