Jerry Janeski, who led the International League in complete games last season with 14 for Louisville, turned in the first of his brief major league career and pitched the White Sox to a 7-0 victory over the Athletics. The rookie righthander yielded only three hits. The White Sox collected 10, including the first major league homer for John Matias and other circuit clouts by Buddy Bradford and Duane Josephson.
