After Harmon Killebrew homered with two men on base in the sixth inning, the Twins added an unearned run on an error by Luis Aparicio and a triple by Cesar Tovar in the seventh to edge the White Sox, 4-3. The two tainted tallies enabled the White Sox to take a 2-0 lead before Tovar singled, Rod Carew doubled and Killebrew connected for his homer. [The Sporting News]
