Gaylord Perry, the only Giants' starter with a victory to his credit so far this season, brought his record to 2-2 when his teammates bombed the Expos, 12-3. Perry also was the only 'Frisco flinger with a complete game, traveling the route for the second time. Dick Dietz provided the principal support for Perry, driving in five runs with four hits, including a homer with two men on base. Ron Hunt also hit a three-run homer. [The Sporting News]
