. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Coming back after the Brewers took a 5-3 lead, the Senators rallied for three runs in the 10th inning to gain a 6-5 victory. John Kennedy walked for the Brewers in the 10th and scored on a double by Ted Savage. After a walk to Steve Hovley, a double steal and an intentional pass to Mike Hegan, Savage crossed the plate on a wild pitch.

In the Senators' half, passes to Rick Reichardt and Jim French, around a single by John Roseboro, loaded the bases. Ed Brinkman singled, driving in two runs. John O'Donoghue replaced Bob Locker and threw wildly on a bunt by Ed Stroud, allowing the winning run to score. [The Sporting News]
