. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A homer by Graig Nettles with two men on base in the sixth inning was the Indians' potent blow in a 6-3 victory over the Royals. With the aid of a two-run smash by Lou Piniella, the Royals had a 3-2 lead before Nettles connected. The Indians added a run in the ninth on a single by Roy Foster and triple by Russ Nagelson.
