Sonny Siebert not only pitched a three-hitter, but also doubled in the sixth inning for the first Red Sox safety to spark the scoring in a 6-0 victory over the Brewers. Siebert's two-bagger followed a pass to Tom Satriano. After Mike Andrews walked to load the bases, Reggie Smith drove in two runs with a double, and an intentional pass to Carl Yastrzemski reloaded the sacks and three more Boston runs then scored on a single by Tony Conigliaro, a walk to George Scott and an error.
