George Brunet, who lost to his former California teammates, 5-3, in their first meeting April 25, came back to gain a victory when the Senators defeated the Angels, 6-1. Brunet, who also drove in one of the Nats' runs with a single, pitched six and one-third innings and yielded eight hits before giving way to Horacio Pina, who finished and allowed one more hit.
