Hitting for the cycle, Wes Parker capped the batting feat with a triple in the 10th inning when the Dodgers scored three runs to defeat the Mets, 7-4. Ted Sizemore was safe on an error to open the 10th and Willie Davis beat out a bunt. Sizemore was trapped off second on a pickoff throw by catcher Duffy Dyer, but raced to third and slid in safely. Parker then broke the 4-4 tie with his triple and crossed plate himself on a sacrifice fly by Billy Grabarkewitz. [The Sporting News]
