Two homers by Nate Colbert and one by Steve Huntz marked the Padres' 8-2 victory over the Phillies. Colbert homered off Chris Short in the second inning and connected again off Dick Selma in the ninth. In between, Huntz rapped his round-tripper off Lowell Palmer with a man on base in the fourth.
