Boog Powell hit a homer with two men on base in the first inning to start the Orioles off to a 6-1 victory over the White Sox. The Orioles added their other runs in the third with the aid of three errors. Singles by Carlos May and Gail Hopkins, around a passed ball, produced the White Sox tally in the sixth.
