A homer by Ellie Rodriguez produced the Royals' run in the second, but the White Sox came back with a pair in their half on a double by Ed Herrmann, safe bunt by Ken Berry, a hit batsman, a walk to Tommy McCraw and sacrifice fly by Luis Aparicio.
