Five homers, including two by Tommie Agee, powered the Mets to a 7-4 victory over the Expos. Agee led off with a circuit clout and Ron Swoboda added a two-run swat, but the Expos came back with three runs in their half, two scoring on a round-tripper by Adolfo Phillips.

After taking the lead again with a run in the fourth, the Mets resumed with homers by Cleon Jones and Donn Clendenon in the seventh. Agee connected for the second time in the ninth before John Boccabella homered to account for the Expos' final run. [The Sporting News]
