The Expos, the only club to beat Tom Seaver so far this season, did it for a second time when Carl Morton triumphed over the Mets' ace, 2-0, in a three-hit duel. Seaver struck out 10, but walked seven. Passes issued to Mack Jones and Rusty Staub in the fourth inning led to Expos' runs on singles by Ron Fairly and Jim Fairey. Dan McGinn was the other Expos' pitcher to beat Seaver, doing so, 3-0, May 11. [The Sporting News]
