A two-run homer by Mack Jones and two-run triple by Jim Fairey enabled the Expos to defeat the Pirates, 6-3. Jones rapped his round-tripper in the first inning. Fairey's triple was the big blow in the third when the Expos added their other runs. Al Oliver hit a homer, double and single for the Pirates. [The Sporting News]
