Bob Moose pitched a four-hitter for the Pirates and got batting support from Gene Alley and Roberto Clemente to defeat the Cubs, 4-0, Alley doubled and scored on a single by Richie Hebner in the third inning. Clemente knocked in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the fifth and Alley plated the Pirates' final tally with his second double of the game in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
