Leading off in the 10th inning, Harmon Killebrew hit his second homer of the game to bring the Twins a 7-6 victory over the Yankees. Two-run singles by Gene Michael and Horace Clarke and a homer by Roy White gave the Yankees a 5-2 lead. The Twins, who got one run on a homer by Killebrew in the third, went ahead in the fifth, 6-5, but Pete Ward hit a pinch-homer for the Yankees to tie the score in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
