Although tagged for three homers, Fergie Jenkins allowed only two other hits and pitched the Cubs to a 7-4 victory over the Padres. Johnny Callison batted in three of the Cubs' first four runs with a single and a homer. Billy Williams homered for the Cubs' final run in the eighth.
