. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Phillies broke a 4-4 tie with a two-run single by Larry Hisle in the seventh inning and then added five runs in the ninth to clinch a 11-4 victory over the Reds. Tony Taylor and Denny Doyle homered for the Phillies. A walk to Taylor, a double by Doyle and a pass to Scott Reid loaded the bases for Hisle's tie-breaking hit. The Phillies bunched three hits with three walks and an error for their runs in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
