Two unearned runs in the sixth inning provided the Braves with their winning margin in a 6-4 victory over the Phillies. After Bob Tillman and Gil Garrido singled, Felix Millan hit safely to right field. Oscar Gamble threw to the plate in time to nail Tillman, but the runner knocked the ball out of catcher Doc Edwards' glove. Garrido also scored on the error. [The Sporting News]
