Jim Fregosi belted two homers, plus a single, and Billy Cowan cracked a homer, double and single to pace the Angels' attack in a 5-2 victory over the Tigers. Fregosl started the scoring with a round-tripper in the first inning and Cowan broke a 1-1 tie with his blast in the fourth. Fregosi homered again in the fifth. Cowan doubled and scored in the sixth.
