A three-run homer by Harmon Killebrew in the seventh inning brought the Twins a 5-3 victory over the Senators. Cesar Tovar was hit by a pitch and Tony Oliva singled before Killebrew connected for his two-out blow off Joe Coleman. Frank Howard homered with a man on base for the Senators in the first inning.
