After outslugging the Senators, 12-10, in the first game of a twi-night doubleheader, the Orioles also won the second game, 3-2, in 13 innings. Mike Epstein staged a one-man show for the Senators in the opener, driving in eight runs with two homers and a single. One of his homers came with the bases loaded in the seventh inning. Boog Powell led the Orioles' attack with four hits and four RBIs.
