Clyde Wright and Ken Tatum combined to pitch the Angels to a 4-0 victory over the Brewers. Wright, who gave up four hits, was removed with two men on base and one out in the eighth inning. Tatum retired the last five batters in succession. Jim Spencer homered for the first run of the game in the seventh inning and the Angels added other three in the eighth, two scoring on a double by Jim Fregosi. [The Sporting News]
