Tony Conigliaro and Rico Petrocelli homered on consecutive pitches in the fifth inning to support the three-hit hurling of Ray Culp as the Red Sox stopped the Orioles on their five-game winning streak, 5-1. Carl Yastrzemski doubled before Conigliaro and Petrocelli teed off on Jim Palmer. Conigliaro also had another RBI in the game, driving in a run with a single in the third. [The Sporting News]
