Fergie Jenkins scattered five singles and pitched the Cubs to a 2-0 victory over the Phillies. The Cubs also were held to five hits, but bunched three off Grant Jackson for their runs in the second inning. Jim Hickman led off with a single and counted on a double by Ron Santo.
