Ron Hunt had a perfect night at the the plate with four hits and Willie Mays rapped a pair of singles, bringing his career total to 2,994, as the Giants defeated the Astros, 8-5. Mays batted in one run with a single in the second and added another RBI with a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
