Billy Grabarkewitz, who scored after drawing a walk in the first inning, hit a tie-breaking homer in the eighth to lead the Dodgers to a 3-1 victory over the Mets. Cleon Jones homered in the seventh for the Mets' run. After Grabarkewltz snapped the deadlock, the Dodgers added an insurance run in the eighth on singles by Manny Mota and Jim Lefebvre around a sacrifice. [The Sporting News]
