Danny Cater and Cuty Blefary batted in five runs between them to provide the Yankees with a 6-1 victory over the Angels. Jim Spencer homered for the Angels in the second inning to tie the score at 1-1, but Jerry Kenney walked in the fourth and Cater homered to break the deadlock.
