. . . where the 1970s live forever!

In a surprise move, Tommie Agee stole home with the bases loaded and two out in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 2-1 victory over the Dodgers. Tug McGraw, the winner in relief, opened the stanza with a single and when Agee bunted, both runners were safe on an error. Al Weis then ran for McGraw and was picked off second. Bud Harrelson struck out, but Agee stole second and went to third on a wild pitch before Donn Clendenon and Ken Singleton walked to load the bases. [The Sporting News]
